My Approach:

Am I the Right Reader for You?

If you want your reading to be successful, it is crucial to choose a reader who resonates with you. Every reader has a unique approach, philosophy and skill set. Before getting a reading, you should consider what you believe a reading can and cannot do for you, what you want to achieve from your reading, and how you want to receive that information.

A reading is effectively an interpretation of symbolic information. This interpretation is shaped by the reader’s beliefs, knowledge and experience. If your beliefs are not compatible with your reader’s beliefs, you may not resonate with their interpretation. For instance, if you believe that the future is not yet determined, then a reading from someone with fatalistic views may not hit the mark for you. If you believe your natal chart is purely a reflection of your psychological makeup, then you may jar with a reading from a traditional astrologer who sees the natal chart as predictive of life events. If you don’t believe a tarot reader can provide an accurate reading without you being physically present, then you may want to avoid remote tarot readers. It is in your best interests to conduct a self-assessment prior to getting a reading so that you can seek out a reader who aligns with you.

If you are interested in getting a reading from me, my approach is detailed below.

Delivery Mode

All of my readings are conducted remotely and delivered by email in a written PDF report.

I do not offer face-to-face readings either in person or online. I do not offer video or voice recorded readings.

There are two reasons behind my chosen delivery mode:

  1. I open all readings with a meditation to connect me with your energy and your spirit guides. I’m often shown messages that are significant to the reading during this meditation. By offering remote readings, I have the time and space needed to enter into this meditative state.

  2. After the opening meditation, I then commence the reading. All readings are written because I channel messages through the process of automatic writing. This is why I do not offer face-to-face or recorded readings – I channel messages through writing, not through speaking. When I have finished interpreting your reading, I type it up into a report and send it to you by email.

You do not need to be physically present to have an effective reading. A reading is a spiritual process that involves accessing information from the divine realm – it is not dependant on physical proximity. A written reading gives you the flexibility to review its contents in your own time and offers an easy way to keep track of your readings and the key information provided. However, this approach will not suit everyone, so it’s best to consider how you prefer to receive readings before you commit to one.

Reading Style and Purpose

My readings are both informative and practical, offering clear guidance in response to your question. The intention is to provide you with insight and perspective about the action that best aligns with your highest potential and your specific goals. They are a tool to assist you with decision-making – they do not take your decision-making power away. Always trust your intuition and use your own judgement.

My readings also explain how I have drawn conclusions in response to your question. I believe that if you can see the connections I have made in my interpretation, it will increase your confidence in the reading itself. This approach also helps those who are learning to read for themselves as it demonstrates how to make symbolic connections that lead to a clear and accurate interpretation.

Tools

My primary divinatory tool is tarot. I read with either the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) or the Tarot de Marseille (TdM) system depending on your question. I also use a combination of Oracle, Lenormand, Elder Futhark Runes, and/or Astrology Dice to gain further insights and clarity in a reading.

Philosophy and Beliefs

As I’ve mentioned, compatible beliefs are essential for a successful reading. This doesn’t mean that your beliefs must be the same as your reader’s, but they should not clash. My beliefs are outlined below.

Fate versus Free Will

I believe much of our lives are fated. I believe that certain life events are destined to occur at a specific point in time and that these events and timelines cannot be altered or avoided. Consequently, I believe that what is meant for us will always find us – both the good and the bad. I believe that our fate is contained in our natal chart, although I do believe that fate is best understood in hindsight.

However, I also believe that there are numerous paths that we can take to reach these fated destinations. At any given point in time, we have the freewill to choose whether we want to stay on the current path or switch to a different one. Regardless of the path you choose, you will reach the destination at the fated time, but your decisions and actions in the past and the present will determine your experiences along the way.

In my view, it is not for us to know the specifics of our fate. Instead, I believe we should strive to live in alignment with our true nature by making choices in the present that best align with our highest potential. This principle forms the foundation of my reading approach – you may not be able to change your fate, but you can choose to take the smoothest path to get you there.

Prediction

Although I have a predominantly fatalistic philosophy and I believe that the future can be predicted, I cannot reliably determine whether a predicted event is fated and guaranteed, or whether it is simply a likely event based on your current path.

Consequently, all of my predictive readings are a projection of future events based on your current path and the energies at play at the time of your reading. They are indicative of what is to come, but they are not definitive. This means that you can choose to change your projection and pursue a different path if you wish.

Ethics

Legal or Medical Matters

A reading is not a substitute for professional advice. Therefore, I do not read for legal or medical matters.

Yes/No Questions

I do not offer readings for closed “yes/no” questions.

My readings are intended to be an empowering tool to offer advice, perspective and insight into situations that you may struggle to see clearly or objectively. They are intended to aid you in your decisions, not take away your decision-making power.

Instead, I offer various predictive and advice readings to provide insight if you are seeking guidance about whether you should take a specific course of action. These readings offer perspective to help you make an informed decision without taking the decision away from you. They may give recommendations or indications, but my readings will not give you direct yes or no answers.

Timing Questions

I do not offer readings for questions related to timing (e.g. “When will X happen?”).

If you want to know when something will happen, my readings will tell you what action you need to take before that thing can happen, but it will not tell you the timing of it.

However, I do offer general projections for specific time periods, such as “What will happen in my love life over the next three months?”. Refer to the General and Question-Based ‘Prediction’ Readings for more information.

Third Party Readings

As a general rule, I do not offer third-party readings (readings about someone other than the individual requesting the reading) as this involves looking into the mind of someone without their consent.

However, you can reframe your question so that you become the focus of the reading. For example, instead of asking “Why is my daughter upset?”, you can change this to “How can I best support my daughter at this time?”.

I do make an exception for relationship readings if the matter affects both parties. For example, if there is a conflict, I will look at your perspective as well as the perspective of the other party in order to provide insight that may help you resolve the situation. Refer to the reading: Your View and Their View (Question-Based Reading).
